More than 60 women work at a tree nursery of the Forestry Management Station in Sepho County, Kangwon Province in order to cover all mountains of the country with thick forests.

They are wives of officials in the county Party committee. They organized a workteam and volunteered to work at the county forestry management station several years ago.

With the awareness that they should take the lead in the efforts to realize the Party’s intention to transform all the mountains into “gold mountains”, into “treasure mountains”, they sincerely devote their sweat to growing saplings and taking care of the forests.

The people call them women campaigners for forest restoration.
