Chairman Kim Jong Il is a great statesman possessed of the best political philosophy in the present times.

His political philosophy is the immortal Juche idea authored by the respected H.E. President Kim Il Sung.

This man-centred political philosophy requires the popular masses to become the masters of everything and make everything serve them.

Chairman Kim Jong Il is not a simple possessor and applier of the Juche-oriented political philosophy. He is a great master of philosophy and the Juche idea who reliably succeeds, develops and perfects the Juche-oriented political philosophy and the Juche idea.

According to his opinion, the people are a mentor and there is no distinguished leader without them.

In the early years Chairman Kim Jong Il became acquainted with the people from all strata and shared feelings with them through field guidance he made on factories, farms and fishing villages with H.E. President Kim Il Sung and made as his own the field guidance that is the President’s original method of politics.

Field guidance is, indeed, the most wonderful “teaching course on political science” that enabled Chairman Kim Jong Il to become a statesman who grasps every detail of the people’s living, wins their mind and enjoys their absolute trust.

Today, all the DPRK people, irrespective of men and women of all ages including workers, farmers, service personnel and working intellectuals send Chairman Kim Jong Il letters in reflection of their candid and humble feelings, and he replies them with sincerity.

Thus, various people in every part of the country inform Chairman Kim Jong Il of all personal and family matters as well as state affairs every moment.

He regards it as a matter of importance to deal with all of the matters as his own.

The people’s letters are reflected in policies. Chairman Kim Jong Il’s letters sometimes become a heavy criticism given to officials and the people’s letters sometimes make him shed tears of happiness and emotion.

This is the method of politics peculiar to political veteran Chairman Kim Jong Il and it is the highest democracy that no politicians have ever displayed since the political terminology democracy appeared.
