Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Greetings to Russian President

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, on Oct. 12.
The message extended warm congratulations to the president and the friendly people of the Russian Federation on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and Russia.
The message said that the DPRK-Russia friendly and cooperative relations provided by the preceding leaders have developed continuously on the principle of mutual respect, good neighborliness and mutual benefits, and this tradition has invariably been carried on in the new century.
Expressing belief that the strategic and traditional DPRK-Russia friendly relations with 70-year-long history would continue to develop steadily and constructively in conformity with the requirements of the new era and the interests of the peoples of the two countries, the message sincerely wished the Russian president success in his responsible work for building powerful Russia and realizing international justice and the people of Russia well-being and prosperity. -0-
