Amur Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation held a commemorative meeting on August 17, 2021, on the occasion of the 20^th anniversary of historic visit to Russia and the 10^th anniversary of visit to the Far East region paid by Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Present there were over 10 persons including the 1^st secretary of the Amur Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
A speaker noted that president Putin visited the DPRK for the first time in July 2000 to have a significant meeting with the Chairman and, later, the Chairman paid visits to Russia three times to develop bilateral relation in an all-round-way. He stressed that they would make active efforts in the future, too, to further develop the cooperative relations with the friendly DPRK people.
