On the occasion of the 78^th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, celebration gatherings, seminars, photo and book exhibitions and film shows were held in Russia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bulgaria, Czech, Thailand, Switzerland, Romania, Pakistan, Serbia and Mexico in the period between October 7 and 9, 2023.

Figures of the political, public and press circles and members of the organizations for friendship with the DPRK and the Juche idea study groups in those countries participated in the events. Congratulatory speeches were made.

Speakers said that the 78-year long history of the WPK is a proud and victorious one in which it demonstrated validity and invincibility of its cause by saying that the world progressives greet the 78^th founding anniversary of the WPK together with the DPRK people as the most revolutionary and auspicious day.

The speakers underlined that, under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the WPK established correct lines and policies which reflected realities and actual conditions of the DPRK and will of its people with the Juche idea as the guiding ideology and mobilized the entire people to the implementation of the lines and policies to achieve startling miracles and successes. They said that, by inheriting the noble intention of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il,the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un further strengthens and develops the WPK into a genuine motherly party that takes responsible care of the people’s destiny and leads wisely the comprehensive development of socialism. They wished him good health.

Seminars on their exploits held in Russia and Nepal adopted congratulatory messages to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un amidst enthusiastic applause of the participants.

They looked around immortal classic works of the peerlessly great persons, their photos and books about them and the photos showing happy life of the DPRK children and people. They also watched Korean documentary and feature films and videos.
