Seminars and celebration meetings were held in Bangladesh, Uganda and Kyrgyzstan in the period between February 3 and 6, 2023 on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star when Chairman Kim Jong Il was born.

The world progressives and the DPRK people celebrate with joy the significant Day of the Shining Star on the occasion of the 81st birth anniversary of great H.E. Kim Jong Il. He was a distinguished thinker and theoretician who rendered great services to the accomplishment of the people’s cause of independence through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities. Brilliant successes being made by the DPRK people in the building of a powerful country are inconceivable apart from great ideas and patriotic devotion of H.E. Kim Jong Il and his exploits will be kept immortal in minds of the world progressive people.
The DPRK has already occupied the position of a powerful country under the tireless and patriotic devotion and wise leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un who invariably defends and carries forward the revolutionary ideas and cause of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. We are confident that the DPRK people will bring their dreams and ideals into reality in near future under the wise leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un.
