Statements and talks were made public in Thailand, Russia, Italy, Romania and Serbia in the period from October 4 to 20, 2024 on the occasion of the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
They referred to the fact that 80-odd years of history of the WPK was the course of accomplishing the ultimate object of the “Down-with-Imperialism Union” and the course of struggle for building the people-centred socialism and realizing the global independence.
They continued… At present the WPK set it as the principle goal to build an economic giant and completely realize the popular masses’ independence. The WPK strives for the global independence and peace and the development of a socialist movement against the imperialist aggression and war machinations.
They stressed that the WPK rejects foreign intervention and gives top priority to the demands and interests of the country and the people in solving all problems and the DPRK, under its guidance, plays a leading role in the cause of making the world independent while building up its self-defence capabilities even in “the sanctions” and blockade imposed by the US and its vassal forces.
