First entities of regional rejuvenation have been erected wonderfully in every part of the DPRK demonstrating the spirit of dynamic advance and promising future of socialist Korea which opens a new page of the comprehensive national prosperity with confidence under the guidance of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The servicemen of the People’s Army and officials and workers throughout the country made strenuous and heroic struggle to implement the Regional Development 20x10 Policy and built modern regional-industry factories and a new standard offshore farming base which suit to regional peculiarities of 20 cities and counties.
Through the struggle made in the first year which is of key significance in implementing the regional development policy, the DPRK gained precious experiences and laid solid foundations for peculiar development and production growth of the regional industry. As a result, breakthrough was made to win victory one after another in improving the people’s welfare and a new phase could be made to bring about an epochal turn in the socialist construction.
