     The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said.

    “We should promote education in the greatness of the leaders, Kim Jong Il’s patriotism, faith, anti-imperialist and class consciousness and morality to train all Party members, service personnel and other working people into staunch fighters of the Songun revolution and make them raise the fierce flames of patriotic loyalty, creation and innovation at all posts in national defence and for building a thriving nation.”

    Promoting education in the greatness of the leaders, Kim Jong Il’s patriotism, faith, anti-imperialist and class consciousness and morality is, at present, an important task of ideological education in the DPRK.

    5-point education is an important task of ideological work first because it enables the people to train themselves into staunch fighters of the Songun revolution.

    If the people are to train themselves into staunch fighters of the Songun revolution, they should acquire loyalty to the leaders, Kim Jong Il’s patriotism, revolutionary faith, anti-imperialist and class consciousness and socialist morality.

    Through the five-point education, the people can be fully possessed of ideological and mental traits that the fighters of the Songun revolution should acquire. Through education in the greatness of the leaders, they realize more deeply that successful advance and completion of the Juche revolution are inconceivable without the great leaders, and uphold their leadership with pure conscience and obligation. Through education in Kim Jong Il’s patriotism, they have the warm and ardent love for the country and the people and foster patriotism of devoting themselves for the prosperity of the country and well-being of the people like Chairman Kim Jong Il did. Education in faith enables the people to invariably march forward along the road of independence, Songun and socialism without any slightest vacillation and hesitation with the rock-firm faith and will that they are sure to be victorious as they have the great Party and leaders. Through the class education the people grasp properly the reactionary essence of the imperialists and enemy of the revolution, devotedly fight for the socialist system and the masses of the people and hold fast to the revolutionary principles, class principles. Education in morality enables the people to possess the revolutionary comradeship and obligation, further strengthen political and ideological cohesion and unity of the revolutionary ranks and establish the sound and revolutionary style of life in the whole society.

    5-point education is an important task of ideological work also because it encourages the people to display fully their mental strength, thus turning out in the national defence and the building of a thriving nation.

    How the popular masses, the masters of the revolution and construction, are ideologically mobilized is a fundamental matter of deciding success or failure of the revolution. Success or failure of the national defence and the building of a thriving nation totally depends on what kind of mental strength the people have and how they display it.

    As the defending of the country and the building of a thriving nation are undertaken under very difficult and complicated circumstances and conditions, it is important to pay big attention to 5-point education if the people are to display high mental strength.

    Only when the 5-point education is intensified, can the people keep absolute trust in and reverence for the leaders in their minds and faithfully uphold the Songun revolutionary leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. Only then, the people can regard the struggle for national defence and the effort to build a thriving nation as the greatest honor and fully display the spirit of devotion and self-sacrifice with awareness that they have no right to die before carrying out the leaders’ ideas and lines and the Party policy. And they can smash every challenge and obstructive move of the enemy and launch the dynamic general offensive to hasten final victory with firm confidence in victory, will and revolutionary optimism.

    5-point education is the driving force that makes the people fully display inexhaustible mental strength and creativity to turn misfortune into blessing and perform unimaginable miracles and feats.

    The DPRK will intensify the 5-point education to train all the people into staunch fighters of the Songun revolution and thus successfully consummate the cause of the Juche revolution started on Mt. Paektu.
