A woman was lost in thought alone at her lodgings in April 25 Hostel where the flood victims from Ryangang Province were staying.
It was because her son would mark his first-birthday after a few days. However, she decided not to make her village people know the fact, out of thinking that her son’s first-birthday was a matter of no importance as all family members including her son were rescued from the flood and were spending delightful days in Pyongyang without any inconvenience thanks to the deep concern of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
A few days later, she was led by the officials of the Central Committee of the WPK and the hostel workers to a room and there she saw the first-birthday spread prepared for her son. She was deeply moved to tears as she did not notify the people her son’s first-birthday.
