The Workers’ Party of Korea that leads the Korean revolution along the road of victory even under all trials of history has many titles such as an iron-willed party, an invincible party and a veteran and seasoned party. But prior to all those titles it has a friendly and affectionate title, a motherly party.
A motherly party—this is the WPK’s characteristic honoured title and name given by the DPRK people.
The WPK, founded to the people’s interests, has been always loyal to the idea The people are my God, the people-first principle, whether conditions are favourable or not, for a long period of more than 70 years since its foundation. The WPK has regarded the people as the God and struggled only for the people’s wellbeing. There was no bigger pleasure than the people’s happiness and no more serious and emergent problem than their misfortune, for the WPK. The WPK has never thought even for a moment about its existence apart from the people’s destiny and life.
Independent dignity of the DPRK people and their genuine life is firmly defended under the care of the great Party that does not take into account the work for the people and makes an important decision without hesitation for the people.
A motherly party, the precious title only given to the WPK, is an expression of boundless gratitude of the DPRK people for the WPK that has continued the journey of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people with them as a basis of its life.
The WPK regards it, a motherly party, as the biggest honour, the greatest glory that cannot be purchased or bartered with anything.
