The Supreme Leader said in a cavernous voice… When Mt Paektu shows signs of moving, the whole country does so. One should experience the blizzards of Paektu. Only then, can one understand the spirit of Mt Paektu and make a firmer determination to accomplish the Korean revolution to the end.
Standing majestically on the peak of Mt Paektu that day, the Supreme Leader said that snowstorm of Mt Paektu is the spirit of Paektu, which is a famous formulation. He said… Revolutionaries must know the true meaning of the blizzards of Paektu. The blizzards of Paektu are soft for revolutionaries to have firm revolutionary faith and bring about miracles and victories. But they deal a strong and severe blow to renegades of the revolution and betrayers to the revolution. The revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of blizzards of Paektu is a noble spirit that our people should cherish in their minds for ever, and a priceless mental treasure that must be exchanged with nothing.
The Supreme Leader visited the Mt Paektu area despite of snow storm and heavy snowfall in order to make the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu displayed throughout the country.
