In 2015 the officials and workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex surpassed the peak year in production by waging a dynamic all-out charge day and night to mark the 70^th anniversaries of Korea’s liberation and the WPK (Workers’ Party of Korea) founding.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was told on January 12, 2016 about production achievements and labor feats made by the workers of the complex in the previous year.

Highly appreciating them, he signed on a document to see that the achievements and feats made by the workers should be widely introduced through newspapers and radios.

On January 16, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un praised again the workers of the complex for their success and saw that a congratulatory message was sent to them in his own name.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the congratulatory message should be delivered to the workers, technicians and officials of the complex not on Sunday when they rest, but on the following day, January 18.

Thanks to the benevolence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who values Sunday, the pleasant time for the people, the workers of the complex received his congratulatory message two days later.
