One day in June 2013, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited newly built Changsong Restaurant during his field guidance to several sectors in Changsong County, North Phyongan Province.

Kim Jong Un was guided by the restaurant chief to look round many places of the restaurant. In the dinninghall on the first floor, the chief showed Kim Jong Un photos the inhabitants in the county had taken in the restaurant on the occasion of their birthdays and weddings, and read him a paragraph among impressive writings left by them. Unexpectedly, Kim Jong Un stood up and gave a big applause when the chief finished reading the visitors’ words. The accompanied officials also clapped their hands.

The chief was moved so much that she was at a loss.

Kim Jong Un said that the most fair appraisal of officials’ work is the people’s voice and that if the people like something, no other appraisal of it is needed. He also said that officials should do everything to make the people like it and that the people’s demand and interests are a criterion of everything.
