No Indonesian recognized who he was as leader Kim Jong Il repeatedly stressed that if Indonesians asked who he was, the Korean officials should inform that he was an escort assisting the President.

No one informed the truth. But they highly praised Kim Jong Il to be identical to the President while witnessing his personality, appearance and able organizing ability and leadership.
The fact that they regarded Kim Jong Il to be identical to President Kim Il Sung at that time proves his appearance as the great man was the great and brilliant one.
