One day Chairman Kim Jong Il asked officials a question what a few-month-old baby kept crying for.

The officials answered respectively that it might cry because it feels hungry, is ill or becomes drowsy.

The Chairman said that it had just woken up after having its fill and good sleep.

The officials couldn’t see why it cries.

Looking tenderly at them, the Chairman said with a smile on his face that the baby kept crying because it wanted its diaper to be changed as it was wet.

The officials burst out laughter of happiness.

After a while, the Chairman said that some of the Party workers had a haphazard way of doing everything without knowing what people think and what kind of pain they are suffering from just like a mother who forcibly suckles her baby who cries for a wet diaper.

The Chairman said with earnest that he worked by keeping as his life motto the instructions of President Kim Il Sung who had said that the primary ability of a revolutionary is to know the masses and mobilize their strength and wisdom.
