Starting the journey of 2024, the DPRK people were excited and deeply moved by the adoption and declaration of the great programme for regional industry revolution by the Workers’ Party of Korea.
At that time, important projects, to which the Party and the state should concentrate efforts, including 50 000 flats in Pyongyang and the rural housing construction conducted on an unprecedentedly huge and nationwide scale were underway in all places of the DPRK. All the DPRK people were surprised by the fact that modern regional-industry factories would be built surely in 20 cities and counties every year in such circumstances.
Modern regional-industry factories were completed after 10 months since their groundbreaking in Songchon County of South Phyongan Province, where the start of the regional industry revolution was solemnly declared, thus giving the people delight. And the regional-industry factories were completed in succession in 19 counties following Songchon County. The regional people were surprised again and again at the changes and reality brought about only in a short period of one year as they enjoyed benefits of new industry-factories after their completion.
