    Celebrations of the 66^th anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union were a fruition of Kim Jong Un’s noble love for posterity, love for the future.

    It was organized and held under his meticulous concern.

    On May 7, 2012, Kim Jong Un instructed to select 20 000 exemplary members of the KCU at all schools across the country and hold the joint national meeting of the KCU on the occasion of June 6, the founding day of the Korean Children's Union, and organize visit to the different places in Pyongyang City and appreciation of art performances.

    He personally defined the attendants and the criterions so as to mainly choose the members of the KCU who were exemplary in study, organizational life and a do-good-thing movement among sons and daughters of workers, farmers, army officers, scientists and technicians.

    Eventually, the majority of the delegates of the KCU selected at all schools across the country ranging from the Jongilbong Middle School(at that time) at the foot of Mt. Paektu to the Chodo Middle School(at that time) in the foremost post of the country were the pupils of the ordinary families. 70% of them were the first visitors to Pyongyang and there were orphans among them, too.

    Kim Jong Un took measures to ensure that the delegates come to Pyongyang by special plane and train and lodge themselves at the hotel where all conditions are provided so as to stay without any inconvenience while enjoying special treatment.

    Thanks to his care they visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill, the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and different places in the capital. And they enjoyed themselves, laughing boisterously at the up-to-date cultural and welfare facilities.

    Although he was so busy with affairs of the state, Kim Jong Un spent the whole day on blessing the members of the KCU who celebrated the founding day of the KCU.

    In the morning on June 6, he attended the joint national meeting of the KCU and delivered a congratulatory speech and in the afternoon he appreciated the art performance celebrating the founding day with the delegates.

    Telling the officials to let the children celebrate the anniversary more cheerfully, Kim Jong Un took an emergency measure to shoot fireworks before the art performance by postponing the time of performance which had been expected at 4:00 p.m.

    On June 7, he had a photo session with the delegates.

    He spent his precious time posing for a camera, moving 20 seats for 20 000 pupils.

    He sent beef and rainbow trout to them, saw to it that the birthday spreads were arranged for the 260 pupils including the triplets from Phungsan County and sent affectionate presents to all the delegates.

    Besides, he sent 3 pieces of song reflecting the children’s mind and saw to it that the 20 000 more copies of “Sonyon Sinmun” published during the celebrations were printed pressingly to enable the delegates to take them when they left for their houses.

    An image of Kim Jong Un who attended the celebration event of the 66^th anniversary of the KCU and delivered a congratulatory speech in intimate voice, was imprinted in their hearts as their real father.

    When the meeting was held, the venue turned into the flood of tears of the members of the Children’s Union.

    Eyes of the children, who were laughing boisterously before the meeting, were full of tears when Kim Jong Un appeared at the venue of the meeting and shed tears of passion when he delivered a congratulatory speech and a group of boys and girls recited a poem in congratulation of the founding anniversary.

    It is easy to move children to laughter but difficult to make them cry. Their tears were, however, the eruption of the boundless gratitude to Kim Jong Un who set up the children as the king of the country and arranged such a happy moment for them.

    The news of the celebration events of the 66^th anniversary of the KCU stirred up the world people as well as the Koreans.

    The Central TV and Xinhua News Agency in China, AP and CNN in the US and many other newspapers, radios and communications widely broadcasted the celebration events of the 66^th anniversary of the KCU as the topic news.

    According to them, it is the first time to see the children giving an enthusiastic welcome to the leader though it is familiar to see the adults shed tears to welcome their leader at the venues of the events in the DPRK; this fact alone clearly proves that the supreme leader Kim Jong Un is the great man who enjoys absolute support of the Korean people of all ages and both sexes.

    And they reported that the supreme leader Kim Jong Un has further consolidated the single-hearted unity through the event of the children in the DPRK and no country in the world but the DPRK hangs the party and national flags in the street to celebrate the day of the children.

    Indeed the celebration events of the 66^th anniversary of the KCU were big political ones that were held thanks to the ennobling view on rising generations, the view on future, and another legend of love for the future.
