The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea celebrates its 75^th founding anniversary this year.

History of the DPRK’s founding and development is obviously the history that vividly demonstrated before the world the viability of the Juche idea authored by H.E. Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK.

The Juche idea formulated, for the first time in history, that man is the master of his own destiny and has the strength to shape it. In other words, it means that the masses of the people are the masters and motive force of the revolution and construction.

The Juche idea is the guiding ideology of the DPRK.

The DPRK’s reality proves that the Juche idea can only be a guiding ideology of the epoch of independence.

H.E. President Kim Il Sung held fast to principles of independence in politics, self-sufficiency in the economy and self-reliance in defence as a main line in developing the Party and the state and led the Korean revolution to victory.

In the period between the 1960s and 1970s, presidents and government delegations of many non-aligned countries visited Pyongyang to meet H.E. President Kim Il Sung and have his explanations for challenges they faced with in building a new society.

H.E. President Kim Il Sung told them about experiences and lessons of the Korean revolution and showed them the achievements gained in applying the Juche idea.

The newly independent African countries took interests of the DPRK’s experiences of building socialism.

In addition, H.E. President Kim Il Sung gave unsparing material and technical assistance to the African countries and encouraged to promote friendly and cooperative relations between the non-aligned countries so that they could stand on their own.

Principle of independence elucidated by the Juche idea still serves as a guide for progress and development for the progressives over the world.

Availing myself of this opportunity, I affirm that the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Progres School of Mali will be more active in the study and dissemination of the Juche idea.

Long live the great Juche idea!
