A seminar on Chairman Kim Jong Il’s exploits was held by the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics on August 21, 2023 on the occasion of the meaningful day when he started leadership over the revolutionary armed forces.

Figures of political and social circles participated in the seminar.

Speakers said that Kim Jong Il visited the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105^th Guards Tank Division of the Korean People’s Army on August 25, 1960, and it was a historic event that provided a new turning point in defending freedom and sovereignty of the country, achieving justice and progress and advancing the Korean-style socialism. They highly praised that Kim Jong Il strengthened the integrated whole of the leader, the Party and the masses and safeguarded the destiny of the country and nation and socialism by dint of Songun in the period between the late 1980s and the early 1990s when socialist countries in East Europe collapsed and imperialist allied forces were becoming all the more outspoken in the anti-socialist maneuvers.

They said that socialism keeps advancing in the DPRK and peace and stability are guaranteed in the region thanks to the outstanding leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who succeeds to the cause of Kim Jong Il.

The seminar adopted a congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un with applause of the participants.
