The Belarus Memorial Committee for President Kim Il Sung was formed in Minsk on June 4, 2023 on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung’s demise.
Chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the National Association of Belarusian Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il was elected the chairman of the memorial committee.
The memorial committee decided to send a message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, widely propagate the President’s immortal exploits through mass media and hold several political and cultural events such as memorial meeting, film show and visit to the DPRK embassy.
