Memorial committees were formed in Ecuador and Peru on December 13, 2022, on the occasion of the 11^th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s demise.

Present there were members of organizations of friendship and solidarity with the DPRK people and Juche idea study groups.

The inaugural meetings elected chairmen and secretaries-general of the committees and decided to send a message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and hold diverse political and cultural events including commemorative meeting and special video show.
