A national seminar on the Juche idea for independence, democracy and development was held in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo on March 1, 2020.
It was participated by secretary-general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea who is national president of the Working Citizens’ Association of the DR Congo and the chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo, chairman of the DR Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association who is deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the DR Congo, and other personages and masses of various circles.
The chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the DR Congo made a keynote report at the seminar.
Referring to significance of the seminar, the chairman stressed… Genuine democracy can be found not in the capitalist society where money decides everything but only in the society based on collectivism, that is, the DPRK which correctly reflects and realizes will and demand of the people.
The DR Congo should also build a democratic society in line with the people’s desire to live and develop independently instead of “democracy” forced by foreign forces.
The DPRK is now demonstrating the might of a powerful country. It is because it has the great guiding ideology.
For independence, each country should put an end to all sorts of domination and subordination and develop one’s own national cultural heritage. In particular, each country should oppose reactionary ideological trend.
To this end, it is necessary to study profoundly the Juche idea whose truthfulness has been proved in the struggle for the masses’ cause of independence.
The reporter said that it is important to learn after practical experiences of the DPRK which has built a powerful self-supporting national economy as required by the Juche idea that considers the working masses as the independent driving force of history and clarifies that everything should be solved by relying on its strength.
He continued… Development of society is secured by self-defence capabilities.
Without strength capable of defending oneself, one is unable to escape from the lot of slave.
We, the Juche idea followers who keenly realized validity and vitality of the Juche idea, should fulfill our responsibility and duty in order to build a free and peaceful new world on this planet.
He was followed by several personages. They explained realities of the DR Congo in combination with the Juche idea.
Final declaration adopted at the seminar stressed the need to display patriotism and self-reliance, creativity and national dignity and contribute to consolidation of national economy for prosperity of the DR Congo.
A letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
The letter paid high tribute to the Supreme Leader who wisely leads the DPRK shining with the Juche idea.
The letter also expressed the participants’ will to promote the friendship between the DR Congo and the DPRK and activate the study and dissemination of the Juche idea.
