Preparatory committees for commemorating the 74th founding anniversary of the DPRK were formed in late August 2022 in Thailand, the DR Congo, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Ethiopia, Egypt, Russia, Switzerland, the UK, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Romania, Serbia and Mexico.
Present there were members of different political parties, social organizations, friendship associations and the Juche idea study groups.
At the meetings, the chairmen of the committees were elected and it was decided to hold various political and cultural events.
