The Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with DPRK held an on-line seminar on August 4, 2021, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of historic visit to Russia and the 10th anniversary of visit to Siberia and the Far East region paid by Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Present at the seminar were the personages concerned including the chairman and secretary general of the association.
Noting that during his visit to Russia in 2001, the Chairman visited Lenin Mausoleum to pay tribute unlike other heads of states, the speakers noted that this was the manifestation of noble moral obligation for the leader to be possessed by the true revolutionaries.
The speakers continued that the Chairman’s historic visit to Russia was the significant event that strengthened mutual cooperation and support between Russia and the DPRK and actively promoted the comprehensive development of the DPRK-Russia relations. They expressed their conviction that the DPRK people would win victory after victory while destroying challenges and difficulties encountered as long as there was the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
