Preparatory committees for the celebration of the 78^th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea were formed in Ethiopia and Romania on September 30, 2023, in Hungary and by the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of Communist Party of Russian Federation and the Juche idea study groups on October 2 and by Tynda Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea in Russia on October 4.

Figures of various circles and members of the Juche idea study groups participated in meetings to form the committees.

The preparatory committees decided to introduce and propagate broadly the greatness and immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and to hold colorful political and cultural events including seminar, photo exhibition, film show, etc. on the occasion of the 78^th founding anniversary of the WPK.
