A commemorative seminar was held online in the UK on August 14, 2023 on the occasion of the 78^th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.

The seminar was participated by members of the UK Korean Friendship Association, British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and British Association for the Study of Songun Politics and by members of friendship associations in Poland and Germany as observers.

A speech was made at the seminar.

The speaker mentioned about historical significance of August 15, 1945 when Korea was liberated and about history of proud victory and development achieved by the DPRK people after liberation. Saying that the DPRK has been built into the most independent country with strong national power in the world under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the speaker extended full support and solidarity to the heroic struggle of the DPRK people.

The seminar adopted a congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un. The participants watched the Korean documentaries.
