The Belarus preparatory committee for celebrating the 70^th anniversary of victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War was formed on June 4, 2023.

Present at the inaugural meeting were delegates from different political parties and public organizations including the All-union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, the Communist Workers’ Party of Belarus, the National Association of Belarusian Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the Belarus Association for the Study of the Juche.

Chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the National Association of Belarusian Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il was elected the chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to send a congratulatory message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the name of the political parties and organizations, that are members of the preparatory committee, propagate widely through mass media the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung in winning victory in the Fatherland Liberation War and hold colourful political events including celebration gathering and congratulatory visit to the DPRK embassy.
