On the occasion of the 111th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, meetings were held in Thailand, Mongolia, Russia, the DR Congo, South Africa, Slovakia, Romania, Bangladesh, Guinea, Nigeria and Tanzania from March 20 to April 3, 2023 to form preparatory committees for celebrating the Day of the Sun.
Present there were members of political parties, public organizations, associations of friendship with the DPRK and the Juche idea study groups in those countries.
The meetings elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the committees and decided periods of celebration.
The meetings decided to hold such colourful political and cultural events as adoption of congratulatory message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, celebration gathering, seminar on the President’s exploits, film show and photo exhibition and discussed practical issues to widely introduce immortal exploits performed by the President in developing bilateral relations between the DPRK and those countries, greatness of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the DPRK’s realities through different means of mass media.
