Meetings of forming preparatory committees for celebrating the Day of the Sun were held in Finland, Norway, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Denmark and Uganda in the period from March 12 to 18, 2023 on the occasion of the 111^th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were members of political parties, public organizations, organizations of friendship with the DPRK and Juche idea study groups.

The meetings elected chairmen of the preparatory committees and discussed the issues of holding colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
