Nepalese and Mongolian figures carried commemorative articles on newspaper and homepage on December 13 and 14, 2022 on the occasion of the 11^th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s demise.

Secretary of “Nepalese National Preparatory Committee for Cherishing Chairman Kim Jong Il’s Memory on the Occasion of the 11^th Anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s Demise” carried an article “11^th Anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s Demise” illustrated with a portrait of smiling Chairman Kim Jong Il on the Nepalese newspaper Gorka Express dated December 13. In his article the secretary said that the Chairman would always live in the hearts of the world progressive and peace-loving people as he rendered immortal services to the building of the self-supporting economy and the strong state defence capabilities, built the Workers’ Party of Korea into the party of President Kim Il Sung and illuminated the way of accomplishing the cause of Kimilsungism.

Chief of the Mongolian Centre for the Study of Juche carried on internet homepage Mongolian friends of the DPRK an article titled “Ideological and Theoretical Exploits of Kim Jong Il, Chairman of State Defence Commission” illustrated with a photo of the smiling Chairman on December 14, 2022, on the occasion of the 11^th anniversary of his demise. In his article, the chief praised highly by saying that the Chairman was a prominent statesman, a great master of ideology and theory and that the Juche idea, authored by President Kim Il Sung and developed in depth by the Chairman, is a great revolutionary ideology that illuminates the way of shaping the destiny of the people, the subject of history.

He continued… Important in the exploits performed by the Chairman is that he not only gave comprehensive solutions to theoretical and practical issues arising in accomplishing the people’ s cause of independence, the cause of socialism but defended the DPRK’s socialism and saved the cause of the people’s independence from crisis in the late 20^th century when imperialists and renegades of socialism clamoured about the “end” of socialism and the progressive people, who had been longing for socialism, were at a loss while being disturbed by temporary difficulties. Many progressive people in Mongolia and the world are now making efforts to profoundly study and grasp the Chairman’s ideas and theories.
