The British Association for the Study of Songun Politics sponsored a memorial meeting on July 8, 2021, on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
Present there were the members of the association, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK, the general secretaries of the New Communist Party of Britain and the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), and the Juche idea followers.
The meeting was held after paying a silent tribute to the memory of the President at the suggestion of the chairman of the association.
The speakers noted that the independence, that constituted a core of the revolutionary idea of the President, served as the motive force of Juche Korea.
Stressing that the DPRK people are making vigorous efforts for the building of an economic power on the strength of the indomitable revolutionary spirit even in the natural disasters and the imperialists’ economic sanctions, they extended comradely support and encouragement to the just cause of the DPRK people.
