An on-line national seminar was held in the DR Congo from February 14 to 19, 2021 according to the plan of the DR Congolese Preparatory Committee for Commemorating of the Day of the Shining Star on the occasion of the auspicious Day of the Shining Star.
Present there were more than 40 people including the secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, members of the preparatory committee headed by the chairman of the preparatory committee who doubles as the chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Democratic Congo, Juche idea followers and personages of political parties and groups including the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and its affiliated study groups, the Communist Party of DR Congo, the DR Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association and the Working Citizens’ Association.
The seminar said that the Juche idea followers in DR Congo, who are well aware of the immortal exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il, awarded the honorary title of the Working Citizens’ Association to Kim Jong Il in 2010 and the diploma is now on display in the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, Pyongyang. The participants paid the highest homage to the Chairman once again on the occasion of the meaningful Day of the Shining Star.
The National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea examined papers of all participants in the seminar and published in bulletin and distributed it.
