A celebration seminar and photo and film shows were held in Bangladesh on February 6, 2021 under the co-sponsorship of different organizations including the Bangladesh National Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Day of the Shining Star, the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, the Workers’ Party of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea and Bangladesh People’s League.
Displayed at the venue of the seminar were the photos of the 8^th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and its celebration events and Chairman Kim Jong Il’s immortal revolutionary exploits.
The seminar was participated by over 80 personages including the those such as the chairman of the Bangladesh National Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Day of the Shining Star, intellectuals, men of the press and students.
The speakers mentioned that, in the grave period when the cause of socialism was experiencing a setback due to the collapse of the Eastern European socialist countries, H.E. Kim Jong Il made public the immortal classic works including “Socialism Is A Science” to prove truthfulness and validity of socialism and frustrated the imperialists’ military stifling with the unique Songun politics and thus firmly defended the Korean-style socialism.
They stressed that the Eighth Congress of the WPK was held in the DPRK last January with splendor in the presence of respected H.E. Kim Jong Un, though the whole world is faced with numerous socio-economic obstacles owing to the malignant infectious disease, and the DPRK demonstrated once again in the world the might of the single-minded unity of the DPRK, the might of socialism of Juche through the congress.
After the seminar the participants looked round the exhibited photos and saw a documentary “Pyongyang Today” on video.
