The New Year’s friendly gathering was held on January 1, 2024 by members of the Ministry of Foreign Relations and the Juche idea study group.

It was attended by figures of the political circle and members of the Juche idea study group. Speeches were made at the gathering.

Saying that 2023 was a year of weighty importance in the relations between Mongolia and the DPRK, the speakers mentioned that diverse celebration events had been held in a significant way on such important occasions as the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, the 35^th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung’s visit to Mongolia and the 75^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and Mongolia.

Congratulating the DPRK people on achieving astonishing successes in 2023 under the leadership of the Party and the state, they sincerely wished that its people would register bigger successes in their struggle to build a powerful country also in 2024 and expressed resolution to make positive efforts to further expand and develop traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with the DPRK.

Stressing that they are proud of contributions made to the study and dissemination of the Juche idea, the speakers said that they would expand the rank of members of the Juche idea study group by admitting more youth and students who want to learn and understand the DPRK.
