In May 2022 when the pandemic COVID-19 made inroad into its territory, the DPRK started the maximum emergency anti-epidemic “war” to defend the people’s health from the world public health crisis.
All cities and counties of the country were blocked completely and everything closed according to working, producing and living units. Even in such a “war period”, vans carrying dairy products ran through the quiet streets.
