People Devote Themselves for Others’ Sake

The DPRK people regard it as a big happiness and pleasure to devote themselves to the society and collective.

Among them there are an ordinary woman who has supported the socialist system for decades as a wife of special-class disabled ex-soldier, meritorious persons of socialist patriotism who have been loyal to their jobs for scores of years and grateful persons who take care of children without parents as their families, etc.

It is a trait peculiar to the DPRK people that they devote their all to the society and collective and to the prosperous future of the country rather than to their individual pleasure-seeking.

When he visited the DPRK, a foreigner wrote following words on the visitor’s book.

“It is unimaginable and surprising for me that they devote their blood, dedicate their youth and sacrifice even their lives, for others’ sake. They are quite extraordinary people. I wonder whether they have a word others in their mind. It is impossible in my society. But it becomes a part of an ordinary life in the DPRK. The DPRK is a mother of true ethics and morality, indeed.”

People devote themselves for others’ sake!

This is reality of the DPRK.
