In the past when Korea was under the Japanese colonial rule many women had to shed bitter tears of pain because they couldn’t protect their children’s fate with responsibility. But today everyone can see a beaming smile on faces of them who are under the warm care of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Among them there is a woman who lives in Sadong District, Pyongyang City, the DPRK. She has voluntarily bred many domestic animals at home to send them to military posts of the People’s Army and socialist construction sites for scores of years.
On every Mother’s Day she receives many congratulatory letters.
She wears a beaming smile whenever she reads the letters sent by the service personnel who defend the country at the military posts and the builders who perform miracles and merits at the socialist construction sites.
This is the congratulation and delight that can be enjoyed only by those who share the same destiny with the country and do their best for prosperity and development of the country.
The DPRK’s proud history records remarkable feats performed by such wonderful women as her.
