Officials and workers in the sector of electric-power industry, who turned out in implementing decisions made at the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, make dynamic efforts to keep electric-power production going on high level.

Workers in hydroelectric power station in various parts of country including the Suphung Power Station and the Jangjingang Power Station pool their wisdom and efforts in manufacturing a digital control to be introduced in electric generator, actively explore and introduce technical innovations for promoting efficiency of water turbines and push ahead with readjustment and improvement of equipment in a planned way, thus increasing the operation rate of electric generators.

Operating equipment at full capacity, they also regularize checking and repairs of waterways as a whole and ensure high-water level and high-efficiency operation while rationally adjusting water level by using real-time efficiency measurement system.

The thermal power stations in various parts of the country including the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Station channel great efforts into ensuring normal operation and raising efficiency of boiler- and turbo-generators and undertake equipment and technical managements in a responsible manner, thus putting production on a regular basis.
