True to the decisions made at the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and workers in the sector of railway transport expand successes by giving spurs to the transport of staple materials.

The Political Bureau of the Ministry of Railway launches political work in an original way by applying various forms and methods to instigate the workers to turn out as one in transporting materials to major units.

The workers in railway bureaus in each province including the Pyongyang Railway Bureau register successes in transport of materials to major factories, enterprises and mines holding a great share in economic development and improving of the people’s livelihood while launching extensive socialist emulation drive for increasing the rate of working operations of locomotives.

They also make dynamic efforts to consolidate material and technical foundations of bases for the repair of locomotives and waggons.
