The revolutionary opera “Tell O Forest” shows a story of an underground worker of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army who was dispatched into a mountainous village by President Kim Il Sung in the period of anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and accomplished his revolutionary mission overcoming all severe trials.
Its dramatic arrangement and emotion stimulation and singing are wonderfully made suited to the dramatic circumstances, personality of characters and logic of life.
The revolutionary opera “Tell O Forest” was finely created into a human-nature play, that grips the people’s hearts, the “Sea of Blood”-style revolutionary opera under the wise leadership of leader Kim Jong Il and first staged on April 22, 1972 under the presence of President Kim Il Sung.
