The Youth Movement Museum was finely erected in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and opened on January 21, 2016 on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League.
The Youth Movement Museum is a grand monumental edifice, a base for educating the young people that conveys the immortal exploits in youth movement performed by the peerless great persons of Mt. Paektu who opened up the origin of the Korean youth movement and gave perfect solution to the youth problem for the first time in the world by unfolding the proud history of building a youth power.
Colour statues of Presdient Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il among the young people and school children stand in the general review hall of the Museum.
The Museum has showrooms and rooms preserving the revolutionary relics etc. and the showrooms are arranged in chronological order of the Korean revolution.
The showrooms exhibit photos, historic data and relics associated with the exploits of the peerless great persons of Mt. Paektu.
A fine education base conducive to train the new generations into reliable successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche while adding eternal brilliance to the immortal exploits the peerless great leaders performed in the youth movement could be provided thanks to the completion of the Youth Movement Museum.
