The Sosan Hotel is situated in the sports village on the Chongchun Street in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The Sosan Hotel which was completed on May 1, 1989 is associated with immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.
The President initiated the construction of a hotel for the sportspeople in Angol and named it Sonsan Hotel when the construction was in near completion.
The Hotel was reconstructed in a fresh way on October 5, 2015 on the direct initiative and under the energetic guidance of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who adds more brilliance to the exploits of the great leaders.
The Sonsan Hotel with a peculiar architectural form has hundreds of rooms equipped with modern facilities and furniture, big and small dining halls and different kinds of welfare facilities including a wading pool and thus it is capable of providing service not only to the sportspeople but to those from abroad.
