In the area, there are Pyongyang Maternity Hospital which is being called as the Korean women’s parents’ home, the Breast Tumor Institute and Okryu Children’s Hospital whose outer appearance gives a hint with a single glance to be a children’s palace and that is being called to be an “art museum in the hospital”.
And it includes Academy of Koryo Medicine that makes contribution to the treatment and promotion of the people’s health with the traditional Korean medicine and Kim Man Yu Hospital equipped with modern medical facilities.
