Built on the shore of picturesque Lake Yonphung, the holiday camp is a place of affection provided by the WPK for the scientists, true to the noble intentions of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
Yonphung Scientists Holiday Camp has a perfect harmony of the Juche character, national character, originality, convenience and formative art.
The Holiday Camp has every necessary condition such as holiday makers’ building with new forms and contents in architectural formation, structure and element, general service centre, e-library and multi-purpose outdoor sporting ground.
Colors of outer wall tiles and roof material suit to the surrounding environment, all buildings are finely built in a non-repetitive way, and there introduced a geotherm-based cooling and heating system.
