The Monument to the Hero Youth Feats was finely erected on December 29, 2016 at Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station, a symbol of the youth power that fully displays the heroic spirit and courage of the DPRK young people.
Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un highly appraised the young people’s heroic feats saying that patriotism displayed by the youth shock brigade members in the construction site of the power station clearly proves that our country is the only power of youth in the world and he personally proposed to erect the monument and chose its location in the place where they can have a bird’s-eye view of the dam of Station No1.
“Monument to the Hero Youth Feats,” the respected Supreme Leader’s autograph, and DPRK hero medal are engraved on the front side of the foundation stone of the monument which finely portrayed the heroic images of the young people who implemented by all means the Party’s order in the severe natural conditions.
The Monument to the Hero Youth Feats erected in Mt. Paektu area is a crystallization of the respected Supreme Leader’s big affection for and trust in the young people and a monument to the youth that tells the feats of the young people, the creators of Paektusan Hero Youth spirit through generations.
