    In his New Year’s Address, the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un stressed to fight staunchly for the prosperity of the country by dint of the single-hearted unity.

    “Single-hearted unity is the precious revolutionary legacy the great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il bequeathed to us, and herein lies the invincible might of our style socialism.”

    Single-hearted unity is the unity and cohesion in which all the service personnel and people establish the ties of kinship with the Workers’ Party of Korea, their hearts pulsating to the same beat as it, and unite closely behind it in ideology, purpose and moral obligation.

    In the DPRK dynamic struggle to build a powerful socialist country is being waged under the distinguished and seasoned leadership of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

    In order to gain brilliant victory and proud successes in the struggle for building a powerful socialist country and accelerate the revolutionary cause of Juche, there should be the powerful politico-ideological might that propels and guarantees the struggle. Successful building of a powerful socialist country and invincibility of the socialism in the DPRK is guaranteed by solidness of the single-hearted unity.

    Indeed, the targets put forward by the Party last year were huge and the arduous course of advance was unprecedented. However, the DPRK service personnel and people, who turned out in the general offensive for the prosperity of the country arms in arms and shoulders to shoulders with the leader, displayed the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude and the self-sacrificing spirit, thus achieving the world-startling, miraculous successes last year. By dint of the single-hearted unity, they demonstrated the might of a politico-ideological giant that leads the era and the might of a military giant which no enemy, however formidable, would dare to provoke. They also brought about a new upsurge in the socialist construction and achieved great successes in the efforts for implementing the 5-year strategy for national economic development, with the single-hearted unity.

    The DPRK is not so big in territory and population, but safeguarded socialism alone in the grimmest situation and the severest difficulties demonstrating to the world how Korea rose like the phoenix. It is attributable to the single-hearted unity that is more powerful than nuclear weapons.

    Indeed, single-hearted unity serves as the powerful weapon that enables the Korean people to frustrate every challenge of imperialists and reactionaries and gain brilliant victory and proud successes in the building of a powerful socialist country. Single-hearted unity lies the invincible might of the Korean style socialism.
