    The Ullim Falls is located in Chonnae County, Kangwon Province.

    It is 75 meters high.

    It is associated with the immortal revolutionary history that Chairman Kim Jong Il visited it in August 2001 and in May 2003.

    It has been called the Ullim Falls as its magnificent sound echoes far through the valley.

    High peaks stretch boundlessly around the falls, which is enclosed by sharp cliffs.

    Water out of the Masikryong Mountains pours 20-25㎥of water a second from the mid-slope of an excitingly risen cliff making roaring sounds.

    Below the falls there is a pond which is 1.5 meters deep and about 30 meters in radius. Minnow, rainbow trout and other fishes are in the pond.

    Majestic appearance of the falls and its deep and quiet scene are beautiful, indeed. Kusul Falls, Pidan Falls and Yukdam Pool(six ponds) in the valley opposite the Ullim Falls are the scenic spots enough to be proud of in curiousness and beautifulness.

    Various facilities including sightseeing path, spillway dam, bridge, open-air dining ground and parking lot have been set up in the surroundings of the falls under the wise leadership of the Chairman. This is a cultural recreation centre which the Korean people love to visit.
