It happened when a delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea attended the international seminar on the Juche idea held in a country of Africa. An aged person required to have a meeting with the delegation members from the DPRK. Meeting with the delegation members, the aged person repeatedly asked to have the portrait of President Kim Il Sung. He told that he had covered scores of kilometers for the portrait even though he was in bad condition showing his wood stick to the members.
They were moved by the thought that his reverence for the President, the founder of the immortal Juche idea, was so ardent that the aged person made a long journey with the help of his wooden stick.
However, they did not know the ardent aspiration of the people in that country to follow the Juche idea.
It was when the DPRK delegation visited a hall displaying the President’s works.
The people’s need for the President’s classic works was beyond imagination.
Some crews postponed their departure time and came to the hall to have the President’s works. Some students earnestly requested to have the President’s works, saying that they should have an examination on the Juche idea at the university.
Some press men asked to be provided primarily with works of the President, stressing the mission of publication in educating lots of people.
Those the DPRK delegation met during the short period of its visit were ordinary people. However, all of them were the ardent supporters, sympathizers of the great ideology.
