It has been a year since the opening of the Pyongyang General Hospital.

The looks of visitors to the hospital add more brilliance to the fascination and grandeur of the hospital that won the mind of the DPRK people on the inauguration day.

A present given to the people by the Workers’ Party of Korea on the occasion of its founding anniversary—this is another name of the hospital cherished deep in the visitors’ mind.

In his speech made at the inauguration ceremony, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the Pyongyang General Hospital would leave its name in history as an aggregation of genuine and deep sincerity shown by the Party, a hospital which was built from A to Z on its own responsibility and equipped with the best possible facilities for the sake of the people.

Through his speech, the DPRK people felt strongly the warmth, look, passion, affection and ardent devotion of mother who spares nothing to prepare presents for her children.

Every present prepared by mother is priceless as it is associated with warm love, sincerity and labour of mother who spares nothing for the sake of her children.

His long-cherished desire to build a modern hospital for the people’s sake was so ardent that Kim Jong Un dug the first spadeful earth to signal the start of its construction and repeatedly visited the site when it was under construction and when its construction was completed and even when it was nearing inauguration and when it was inaugurated.

As it has made strenuous efforts for over 80 years for the happiness and glory of the people since the very day of its founding and it can deal with nothing, to say nothing of the significance of its founding, apart from the people, the WPK could unfold such an impressive history of giving a present to the people.

Hence, all the DPRK people say with pride that not only the Pyongyang General Hospital built on the bank of the Taedong River but all the creations erecting in the DPRK for their sake are the priceless presents associated with the ardent sincerity and affection of the WPK.

An era of comprehensive development in which the entities of civilization are built in succession has been unfolded thanks to the WPK’s warm love for and devotion to the people, and the era of great changes is the most priceless present that can be given only by the great mother of the DPRK people.
